Jamie picks up your pet(s) and takes them to a local dog-friendly/centric park

  • Structured on-leash walk around your dog’s favorite routes close to home.

    A calm, structured on-leash walk right in your neighborhood. Great for dogs who prefer familiar routes and a slower pace, or pups working on leash manners.

    Best for: homebodies, seniors, shy pups, and dogs who need a more predictable routine.

  • Off-leash exploration at Pratt’s Brook or local trails for dogs who thrive outdoors.

    Let your dog enjoy a real Maine adventure. Nature Walks include a safe field trip to Pratt’s Brook or West Side Trail (or a similar trail) for off-leash exploration, sniffing, splashing, and the kind of mental stimulation you cannot get in a neighborhood walk.

    Best for: high-energy pups, confident explorers, and dogs who love room to roam.

  • Off-leash time is a privilege, not a promise. For safety, all dogs must complete a Test Walk ($20) before being approved for any off-leash adventure.

    Test Walk ($20) includes:

    • Leash handling + responsiveness check

    • Recall testing (with controlled, safe setup)

    • Temperament and body language read

    • Reaction around other dogs (from a safe distance first)

    • Runner risk assessment (bolting/chasing prey, fence-jumping tendencies)

    To qualify for off-leash adventures, your dog must:

    • Respond reliably to recall cues (even with distractions)

    • Show safe, social temperament (no aggression or unsafe reactivity)

    • Be able to disengage and refocus when asked

    • Wear a secure collar/harness with ID tags (microchip strongly recommended)

    Important notes:

    • Off-leash approval is earned and can be revoked if behavior changes.

    • Pine Paws may switch to leash mode anytime due to weather, wildlife, trail traffic, other dogs, or safety concerns.

    • Dogs with bite history or unsafe reactivity are not eligible for off-leash sessions.

  • Add-ons are optional upgrades that can be added to walks, drop-ins, or overnights to make your dog’s experience even better.

    Included in every service (no extra charge):

    • Poop bags

    • Standard treats (owner-approved; let me know about allergies!)

    • Fresh water check + basic wipe-down if needed

    Available Add-Ons:​

    • Brush-Out / De-Shed (10–15 min) – Great for seasonal shedding, reducing mats, and keeping coats healthier.

    • Freshen-Up Wipe Down – Face, paws, belly, and “trail dust” cleanup after messy weather.

    • Bath Add-On (self-serve wash station) – A full wash using a professional DIY dog bath location when your pup needs the spa day without your bathroom becoming a crime scene.

    • Special Meal / Enrichment Prep – Kongs, lick mats, slow-feeders, puzzle toys (client provides items; I prep and serve).

    • Medication Administration – Pills or basic topical care (must be pre-measured/instructions provided).

    • Extra Time Add-On – Extend any visit when your dog needs more attention, extra play, or additional care.

  • Overnights are 10–12 hour stays in the comfort of your dog’s own home — because nothing beats sleeping in your own bed (especially for pups who like their routine).

    Each overnight includes:

    • 3 potty breaks (evening, late-night, and morning)

    • Playtime + enrichment to burn energy and keep stress low

    • Pictures + a visit memo so you know how everything went

    • Snuggles + comfort care (as much or as little as your dog wants — consent matters, even for divas)

    Where overnights happen:
    All overnights take place in the client’s residence. I do not board dogs in my home.

    Good to know:

    • Feeding schedules and special instructions are followed exactly as provided.

    • Any add-ons (meds, extra pets, holiday rates, extra time) are confirmed before booking.

    • If your dog’s needs change, Pine Paws may adjust the plan to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

  • Household & pet count

    • Additional Pet: +$15 per additional pet, per night (as you chose; great)

    • High-Needs Additional Pet (multiple meds / behavior management): +$25 per additional pet, per night

    Medication & special care

    • Medication – Simple (1–2 pills/topical): +$5 per night

    • Medication – Complex (3+ meds, injections, timed schedules): +$15 per night

    • Puppy / Senior / High-Needs Care: +$25 per night (extra supervision, accidents, mobility support, extra breaks)

    Extra time & extra breaks

    • Extra Potty Break (beyond included 3): +$10 each

    • Extended Overnight Hours (outside your 10–12 hr window): +$15 per hour

    • “No more than X hours alone” requirement: +$25 per night (this is a big lifestyle constraint—charge for it)

    Comfort & enrichment

    • Enrichment Prep (Kong/lick mat/puzzle setup; client provides items): +$5 per night

    • Extra Brush-Out / De-Shed (15 min): +$15 per night

    • Extra Wind-Down (additional 20–30 min settle/cuddle time): +$10 per night

    Scheduling

    • Holiday Surcharge: +$15 per night

    • Last-Minute Booking (inside 48 hours): +$15 per night

    • Same-Day Request: +$25 per night

A quick, purposeful check-in while you’re away. Each visit includes potty time, fresh water, a few minutes of enrichment or play, and a wellness check.
